Whilst experiencing a potential legal situation with a former employee, we were referred to Kiss HR by a business friend. We were told, ‘she doesn’t mess about’.  Having already sought legal advice, which was going to work out rather expensive, we thought we’d give Kiss HR a call.

Initially, we thought that we would need to appoint an Employment Law solicitor as legal advice would be the only way forward but having explained the situation to Mel, she quickly pointed out the legalities of the issue, which instantly gave us the confidence that she would be able to support us and guide us through what needed to be done to bring this matter to a close.

Having forwarded various emails and messages from the former employee to Mel,  her advice wasn’t just verbal but she informed us exactly what to write to the employee to make sure we covered ourselves legally.  This letter and a couple of phone calls later, the former employee realised we had taken sound, professional advice, changed his mind and withdrew his allegations.

Having had Mel deal with our issue quickly and so efficiently, we would recommend her to anyone with any HR/legal issues. Not only is she excellent at what she does, she’s a lovely person and a fraction of the cost of an Employment Law solicitor. We’ll definitely use her again should we ever have any issues in the future.
